Went to West ham many years ago.Hendry scored the winner very late on. It was the days of standing. "You'll never make the station" was the chant...Great ground,great fans.

Started off in the chicken run that day - quite a few city in there as it was pay on the turnstile - ended up getting escorted into the city end - no mither though

Not having a dig but curious why such a small % of west ham fans seem to wear colours. The train I was on was packed by the time it reached Upton Park but I didnt see a single West Ham shirt or scarf. On the way back there were just 3 or 4 in the carriage wearing shirts.

Not everyone likes to wear man made fibers to the match

Mother now stays in Camelon.I'm a Laurieston man,another village outside Falkirk.No surprise that your mates are Rangers fans,Falkirk is a Rangers stronghold.Surprised you have coverted some though,Rangers and Chelsea are the norm up here.

No, and I wasnt having a go at them. Just genuinely curious whether there was a particular reason eg an organised boycott over prices.

Was a good away day yesterday - shame about a few West Ham fans, a couple about 50 years old who tried to have a right pop at a few older guys I was with who were causing no bother - but hey hoh - always the occasional twat!!

Yeah, always get away fans in there, rarely as many so early on.

Away fans not normally as vocal as that, but our lot have a lot of time for you boys.l.have to say, all the city boys I spoke to we're proper people....such a difference from your friends down the road
