Thats some mileage bennyboy, Falkirk to East London. My mate from near Livingstone went down too. Are you near Camelon? Ive converted a few into City followers round there. Theyre Rangers fans who drink in Roman Bar. Come down now n then. Always buy the club shop up!
Mother now stays in Camelon.I'm a Laurieston man, another village outside Falkirk. No surprise that your mates are Rangers fans,Falkirk is a Rangers stronghold.Surprised you have coverted some though,Rangers and Chelsea are the norm up here.
I found that most Rangers have this Blues brothers thing with CFC also. I was at White Hart Lane late 80s when Rangers played pre season. Chelsea who hate Spurs turned up with Union Jacks and sat in the Rangers end. Think that was the start of it. Older Rangers fans like City ive found. My mates in the Roman bar fly the flag for us dont worry. On a pre season up there in 96/97 couldnt believe how many City fans were knocking about. Scots and exiled Mancs. All the best bennyboy. Also West Ham = best in London, even though ive had a couple of kickings down there.!

Went to West ham many years ago.Hendry scored the winner very late on. It was the days of standing. "You'll never make the station" was the chant...Great ground, great fans.
haha fucking brilliant!
i remember it well and a very apt story as i was about 15 and had a city shirt on and couldnt understand why no one else did! the old bill walked us out all the way down the high street in a massive escort and i was shitting myself , i dont think i wore a city top for a game since!!!
