It wasn't that bad, we just didn't click up front. We looked good in all other aspect though.

Wasteful & clueless for much of the game. A better team would have ripped us apart. Worrying thing is Mahrez, D Silva & KDB are all rank at present , and show no sign of leading a Title charge. Sane is a moody fucker .That's why we struggled tonight .

Ok Nelly, you got me. The way I see it, Dave n Kevin ARE performing beneath their levels. But we have got so used to them performing at such a hi level, English football have rarely witnessed,
that when they are on a sub-performance run ‘we’ (you) think and say they’re playing ‘rank,’ ‘atrocious,’ ‘shit,’ etc, when in reality even when they’re not at their best, the level they do bring to the table is still above most other players in the English premier! Strangely, I will have to agree with Mahrez. Though I’ll not give up on him while he wears Gods-own shirt!

I agree with many on here and many in the pub before the game that Silva and KDB hopeless all season. I'd drop Silva for Foden. Bernado nailed on for player of the season. We badly miss Fernandinho. Laporte and Stones too. So pleased to have won ugly although we deffo deserved to win. We won v Schalke Chelsea and West Ham and not played well in either game which can't be bad really.

I drove 5 hours in heavy traffic to attend tonight when many couldn’t be arsed given the empties.

I cheered them on and sang on the few occasions we got something going and if I want to say it was atrocious I’ll say it.

Though I disagree with most of your posts concerning tonight’s game. I understand why you might think we played poorly. But to say that we were ‘atrocious’ IS way off the mark. You’re either wound up and in need of attention to release it, a wind up merchant, or you simply don’t know the full meaning of ‘atrocious?’
This may seem like a dig, it’s not meant to be. And I’m certainly not a happy clapper!

I thought Silva and KDB, while both being below their best, showed more flashes and positive play this game then any lately. I also must be the only one that didnt think Mahrez was that bad. I thought his work rate was high, and had some nice individual play. He and KDB were completely out of sync. Not sure who you point the finger at. But they cant have spent many minutes on the field together prior to today. All in all, a good performance except for the final shot.

I thought we played really well and some of our play in the first half an hour was among the best I have seen from us. Regardless of injuries and 120 minutes just 3 days ago, It was an excellent win. A shout out to Gundogan too, who had a super game.
