Not looking good for Mahrez. He's a very talented player, I just don't know if he fits into our team's system. KDB and Silva aren't pulling the strings as well as normal, but hopefully once Bournemouth is out the way they can rest up and start firing again.

I thought we were excellent. Always in control and on another day, five up inside half an hour.

The longer we went without scoring, the more edgy we became.

Special mentions for the whole backline, passing through the lanes. Danilo and Zin look very good.

De Bruyne became more of a liability as the game went on.

Spoilt brats out tonight. Fuck me!!! We just won a trophy (that thing that most of us thought we’d never do again) and won a few days later with 4 key player injuries and forced to rest some tired best players. And we WON. And had about 75% possession and about 25 shots. AND coceeded 1 chance all game against a talented in form team which our world class keeper saved brilliantly. What is up with you clowns? Bottom line is Mahrez had a shocker, pep managed it brilliantly, made the required changes, we scored right away and the game was won. 3 points, players rested, next game. Moan, cry, moan, cry, winge, demand, abuse etc Modern life eh?

I’m not wound up - I gave my opinion on our performance after attending the game and think we were shite.

Thought our overall performance was excellent. We were profligate in front of goal, but our pressing, passing and creation of chances was fantastic.

Mahrez a problem, and Sane's form has dropped a bit too.

Danilo had his best game for us and deserves another start.

Wouldn't agree with the ",better team" bit, as we'd have battered a better team who wouldn't have packed their defence as much. I don't think we were clueless, but we were definitely wasteful. I'd agree that the form of Silva and KdB is rank, but Mahrez isn't in that bracket as he hasn't really shone for us yet.
