West Ham (H) - Post-Match Thread

You know how long it will have taken people to get home with the conditions today? I stayed to the end as my train leaves from ashburys and my wife was taking care of the kid.

But some will have had to drive, others canceled trains. Football isn't as important as family commitments - why is that so hard for supporters to in understand. It's more embarrassing all the sad cunts on here who don't understand that football isn't the end all be all.

Not sure why some supporters feel the need to criticise fans for leaving when they do.

There are various reasons why people leave early and other fans should respect that imo .

not sure on Foden and Grealish as they're injured, but KDB has done his isolation period so for him to be available he has to return a negative Covid test
Reading between the lines, it sounds like he has been a bit iller with than others. I hope he gets back up to speed quickly.

Maybe in your eyes
Today , he was totally bossed by far far better footballers .
there was a moment early on when Rodri spun him a couple of times and Bernardo did something similar in the second half . The midfield totally outplayed him today .
But , we had on answer to Antonio De Laps amazing throw in
I’ve got an answer to them too, put the fucking flag up for a foul throw as his feet are on the pitch!!

Rice was excellent, not only in his play but in his attitude and effort. Was more impressed with him than I thought I would be.

Where were you when you were shit? Fuck off you bellends - Green street e!ite, cockney dickheads

Not sure about that negative Covid test. Pep said exactly that but general public are advised not to have another PCR test for 90 days after the isolation period ends.

I doubt KDB will come straight back in as he'll need some training under his belt. He wasn't properly fit anyway so he'll likely be even further behind. Foden is the big miss.

Weird game today.

We created a lot of chances without ever looking good. West Ham seemed constantly on the verge of spoiling the day without ever really getting close to an equaliser. The weather was bad enough to distract from the game (I could barely see Gundogan's goal) without ever looking like it was going to get the match abandoned. The game itself I found to be pretty boring, especially in the second half, even though we played some neat stuff either side of Cresswell's injury.

All things considered, today's win was a valuable one.

I doubt City will be involved in a more pedestrian game all season. Any decent midfielder should have shone like a 500 Watt bulb out there today
