You could see Ederson and Pep especially were so disappointed, shows how important that second goal was!2 games this season where a last minute goal wipes out a clean sheet, pity

Rice was excellent, not only in his play but in his attitude and effort. Was more impressed with him than I thought I would be.
Yeah, I think you could swap him and Rodri and not notice a difference. And that’s without Pep’s coaching. Rice was the best player I’ve seen this season that doesn’t wear sky blue. I hope he has a long career at the Hammers - or comes here to battle with Rodri for a starting place.

Thought Rice had a good game for them, far more impressed with than his mate Mount, but needs to have better players around him as he is having to do it all there, bit like Grealish was at Villa.
Felt we were always in control and should have gone in more than one up at half time. Second half I thought was more about keeping possession to restrict their chances and to allow us to conserve energy. Score line doesn't reflect our dominance in the game, looking good without being at our best. Plus quality players to come back into the team.

Thanks EddieI had no problems getting there but fuck me it was a nightmare getting home..waited ages in queue for tram and got to Ashton at 5.15..bus was due at 5.23..didnt turn up till 5.53..arrivef home at 6.25..fucking joke as I only live in Haughton Green..the transport system is a joke.

I think the performance will go under the radar.
West Ham are very good this season and will give anyone a serious game.
To play with such calmness, confidence and accuracy in such horrible conditions, I found extremely impressive.
We’ve grown into a team who are very adept and handling anything and everything.
Think we’ll crack on now and get the title dealt with.

I was surprised we've created so many chances against this lot today, Moyes turned them into the honey badgers of the EPL, we struggled more against them the last season. All usual suspects performed well at their peek and there was something satisfying seeing Gundo/Rodri in short sleeves and no gloves in that mini blizzard.
