Woeful or worse or better, both Joe & Willy make you start bricking it when they are " passing " it around in our penalty area. By common consent Claudio is much better at this. As he is now here & number one, look at the positives. Think of how much young Mr. Gunn can learn from him on top of his already fantastic shot stopping ability.

I agree. They have an average looking lineup but a manager who gets a lot out of them. Take out Payet and it looks a very ordinary set up.
But last year finishing 6th was a great achievement for them. Leicester City winning the PL has meant it has gone under the radar a little. They only missed out on the CL by a few points. They gave Chelsea a real scared in their first match and would have got at least a point if the ref was any way competent
But if I was a Hammer fans I would be really disappointed with their signings this summer. They could have really pushed on if the backed Bilic. Also losing on Thursday may well deflate them.
I think we will win 2-0.
 
I can't remember the last time the only emotion I felt before the game was excitement. Usually there'd be some level of stress. So lucky to have Pep.

Inconvenient fuckers. Enjoy the match, had a ticket but works mental, working from home for the weekend with a sick baby screaming the house down :(

Some poor blue on mine was having the piss taken out of him by his mates because he looks like Andy Goldstein. Lad was getting wound up about it. To be fair I think I would being compared to that cockney rag Cnut.

Got a feeling this game will be a statement of intent by us.
 
Cannot wait for the team news, feel like there's gonna be a little surprise today!
