Would expect Carroll to try and drift out to their right to bully Zinchenko, and Danilo is going to have to watch Anderson like a hawk. Tough game for Sane and Mahrez, as the focus will be on them producing in the final third, but they simply cannot afford to slacken in their defensive duties.

Due to Silva and De Bruyne's recent poor form I think we will suffer without Bernardo's workrate tonight unless they rediscover it. Mahrez will slow us down going forward too. Hopefully we have enough to win.

To be dropped or rested, I think Pep has looked at fitness levels tonight and there's no doubting Dave is one of our fittest players. That's maybe the reason he's starting tonight
