I couldn't care less how we win from here on in - I trust Pep and the staff to pick our best 11 based on fitness and formation.

I strongly believe this is the kind of game where we ought to trust Foden too. West Ham are a decent enough side but one thing you always know you’re going to get against them is space.

We are quite lucky in that whilst he's out, we have relatively winnable league games, a cup game against lower league opposition, a champions league tie he was already suspended for and then there's a two week international break. If we had to lose Fernandinho at any point of the season, this would probably be it.

This is where Pep earns his corn with squad management. Might be an interesting team out on Wednesday. My guess is that several who played in the Final will be absolutely knackered and will need a rest. No guarantee that Jesus and Stones will be ready either.
