I thought the worst of it was over ?

Have just been listening to Planes coming in over the House in Didsbury.

How the fuck did we survive without the Nanny State back in the 70s/80s.

Games played in a foot of Snow with a bright Orange Ball etc.

Ice Skating to games.

The Ballet on Ice!

Why do we have to wait 2 weeks to see another game when this could quite feasibly be played tomorrow night. It makes sense, TV crews here already etc etc.

Ah! The ballet on ice against Spurs, those were the days - even if we did bend the rules a bit by removed the last layer of leather from the studs. It meant the nails holding them in protruded slightly to give our players some extra grip.

Well I hope it’s called off. Now checking out of the Great John Street Hotel to head back to Lancaster as my sister has just told me my dad passed away an hour ago.

feel very weird and about to head back up the m6 in this weather.

The game that persuaded this Leeds born lad ( and his Dad) that City played the type of football that was worth paying to watch ! Still here 50 + years later !!
