Poor Marvin left at the bar went down like Leonardo DiCaprio from the Titanic. ;)

Have googled. Two games abandoned (as @tolmie's hairdoo said) verses Ipswich. My memory is from January 1994 when City were 2-0, abandoned by the ref David Ellery because of the state of the Mane Road pitch. You remember the Worthington cup quarter final in December 2000, City had just equalised (1-1) and Graham Poll suspended the game for 15 minutes again due to the waterlogged Maine Road surface. He had an attempted kick about the linesmen after a couple of minutes then abandoned the game at the 23 minute mark. Ahh, not so happy days...

So there we go! Thanks mate.

Ipswich have got off very lightly against us!

Kick Off time is not the decisive factor. Travelling to and from the game is.
Adults made the decision to call it off.

Their decision should have been made by Thursday. They knew about the weather and any other competent governing body would have rescheduled for Saturday or even Friday. They might as well have gone ahead with a closed door game unless they reschedule it for next weekend and cancel the teams “winter break”. Bad planning and the team suffers.

Relative of mine is a manager for one of the outside catering firms. He’s saying rearranged for tommorow or Tuesday is being discussed. He said they’ve told him a date to be confirmed in the next hour
