Thought Haaland did more than enough , but Sav looks like he could become proper player consist as well 3 motm on the spin , go on kid

Savinho! Great down the left and loved the drive through the middle for Haaland's second. The talent has always been there (and he proved himself in La Liga) but it's great that he's making more of an impact

Whilst I understand everyone has a point of view and personal preference, I can't see how Savinho is not, like, 95%/ 96% of the vote!

Sure Haaland got two goals and linked up play well, but without Savinho his goals ain't happening and it's just link up play as has been before now, for a lot of this season! that's not a knock, but just how too many of form players have been on the pitch.

Without Savinho scoring against Leicester, he'd still be feeling the pressure and trying too hard. He didn't seem to be enjoying his game before that along with the team form. I bet he had doubts he was in the right place for his play!

However, that's not the case, right now and the team know he's in key form as he's the outlet. He's gonna have a few brain fart moments, they all do, but the kid is just as willing to mix it up and readdress the mistakes, help out in defence, help out in the middle and put in the passes.

He's a little tenacious mix of Bernardo, Sterling and Sané, but dancing samba, imo!

I'm really happy for the kid to find his feet.

Savinho easily, but there were a few other good signs. Haalands best ga,e for 3 months, Foden and KdB showed some good signs too, so from a going fowards POV, much improved, and we created plenty of chances, and out a few awat.

Defensively though it looked shambolic at times, Akanji looks mentally a mess to me, playing too much and too much responsibility. Gvardiol had a good game from an attacking POV, but gets exposed defensively often because whoever is in front of him just jogs back. Ake clearly still not fully fit though didn't do much wrong. Walker was a disaster, I'd have taken him off after 10 minutes he was that.

Obvious one really, Savio, although Haaland had a good game, in particular his involvement when he wasn't doing his thing. It's very noticeable that Ake is vital to our defence, whenever he's subbed off we seem to concede within minutes

I think today it wasn't so much Ake going off, more Walker coming on, his first 10 minutes on the pitch were worse than pathetic, and yet again Ake goes off, and all 4 defenders are changed positions, that does nobody any favours.

Pep called Simpson Pusey back to get ready to go on, but in the intervening period Kovacic took a knock, so he changed it to Walker, he should just have made the change he was going to make.
