West Ham - Post match thread

I am flabbergasted this post-match thread made it past 50 pages. ;-)

An unusual and probably worthless fact, in the West Ham game 50% of our starting outfield players names began with the letter "S":-
Sagna, Stones, Sane, Silva and Sterling.

Disagree. What Hoddle lacked was the ability to control a game for England in the way Platini did for France. Hoddle had at least the same passing range as Platini, could carry the ball and had a precision shot. Played for England for nine years but only capped fifty-odd times. He never tracked back, and that's why he struggled to hold down a spot in Robson's England.
.

The reason he could never control a game was not a shortage of range but because he could not see the right pass nine times out of ten, moves would break down for no other reason than Hoddle stood there wanting minutes to give it a thinking about, or go for an aimless wander with the ball where he would dance past a player or two before losing the f*cking thing, he had skill, but the kind you learn by hours of coaching and practicing on your own as a kid and not as a natural talent with a footballing rather than a footballers brain.
I did give him credit for having a cracking shot, but he had far more faults than just not tracking back for me to rate him anything but above average, there were certainly better options for England (Imo),

So the FA claim they didn't have enough video to charge Cresswell for his encounter with Sterling at West Ham.
Don't seem to have such bother imposing bans for City players.

Not enough video evidence? The game was shown live ffs!

Seemingly our Team is currently composed of players starting with ´S´in their names.
Perhaps the FA are responding by using ´V´for video to give us the usual two fingered salute ?
