West Ham supporters deserve a mention IMO.

City and Hammers have some deep connection I'm sure. We do have great away support wherever we go and I'm sure we all travel in numbers due to day out / singing than rather watching the dross on the pitch. I didn't go last night but in a way still would like to have been there , last time i went City away we knocked you out the FA Cup, Dean Ashton winner. How times have changed.

WHU fans are tops, our little lot have known quite a few of them for years, they come drinking up here and we go drinking down there, they take us into pubs that no away fans have ever seen the inside of and the older WHU fans genuinely like City as a club they are so similar to us its uncanny

West Ham have always had quality black gallows humor fans just like our amazing City hoards.
Good luck West Ham.

Irrespective off what goes on on the pitch, West Ham fans are world class supporters in my eyes.

Seriously wish you all the best for the remainder of the season.

But no upsets in the second leg!

Couldn't make the game last night due to work commitments so watched on TV. They came in numbers, never stopped singing and stayed till the end, respect!... Did they sing the obligatory "where were you when you were shit"? I would be amazed if so as I think they are too(collectively) respectful for that. I've drank many a pint in one of their pubs whilst working in East London(The Sheepwalk in Ilford) and I have always been made welcome.

We, like them have suffered for many years whilst being in the shadow of our local rivals(Arsenal, Chelsea Spurs) and us winning nowt whilst the rags won everything year on year. It's not easy financially these days when you have a mortgage and kids to support your team away, especially when all you can foresee is a heavy and embarrassing defeat almost every week.

So, any Hammers fans reading this, chin up lads, you do your fine club proud each week. : )

nothing new that city and west ham have soft spots for one another. i dont like saying i feel sorry for a club because that may look patronising but they need to get rid of that idiot of a manager. i hope no hammer gets offended by this but that team is worse than stoke in terms of playing the game, a far cry from how they've been known to play over the years!
