Only see Sunderland in for him at the moment

Problem we have is Carrol will defenately play as a lone striker, I can't see us buying another world class striker to sit on the bench... We need someone happy to play second fiddle to Carrol.

Fucking hell. Playing second fiddle to Andy Carroll. How shit would your life have to be to contemplate being that???

Isn't Quagliarella 32? Or am I confusing him. Carroll can't play every game and at 32 neither can 'Quagie' (who probably wouldn't get too many games at this level anywhere else either) so maybe there won't be a problem.

Give Carroll the support and keep him fit and he'll get you the goals. Winston Reid came on loads as a defender last season and Big Sam has signed Rat to strengthen the back. Downing will be out to prove himself and Kevin Nolan could walk into many Premiership midfield teams.
I think West Ham will move on up this season.
