I listened to a bit of 606 or whatever the 5Live phone in is on a Sunday night (Wrighty and some forgettable woman). He started by saying Hammers fans have been saying that playing a weakened side was the right thing to do and Allerdyce shouldn't be blamed. Don't know how many fans he spoke to, but I'd agree with the sentiment, with the position they're in they should say f@*k the FA cup. Can see them putting in an effort for the League cup though seeing as its a semi.

I suspect unless they start getting hammered ( he he ) in Prem games BFS will keep his job until Carroll gets a run in the side as for better or worse loads of cash has been pumped in to the style if play that needs him upfront.

If when he returns they're no better he'll be toast.

Nope , we have a bigger game few days after away to Cardiff, if we lose that then I think he's gone. Skashion pretty much summed up my feelings. The injuries have ruined us, seriously it's pretty much our first team all injured - big sam is still the same manager that got us promoted and then top 10 last season. He's a brilliant manager and I'm absoulutly gutted the injuries are going to get him the sack, because there's no way our 2nd team and kids can compete against premiership sides. He's lost the support of most our tosser fans so it's only a matter of time I think. As for the FA Cup, west ham fans slate him for never playing kids, he done it today and we get stuffed then they blame him for playing them. Although with only 14 squad players fit with a semi final and massive game next weekend it was the sensible choice. Tough times. Up the hammers

Going off what you know then what do you anticipate will be West Hams line-up for Wednesday?
Will there be some unexpected returns from their sick beds? - wouldn't surprise me.
Do you expect a better performance from that 11 than was put up against us at the Boleyn earlier in the season?

Fortunately Boyata can't play in this game, so that will mean even if the manager plays 5 people out of position and blindfolds our keeper we should still take a 2 goal lead into the second leg. But we'll see?

... Might be wrong and he may play a few kids but I would have thought he would try and contain city. Park the bus. Take a 1-2 nil loss. Return leg will have players returning, couple new players and just go for it.

He may be all those things but he gave me the best years of watching w.ham. I really don't want big Sam to go but would be happy if Harry was to replace him.
