Its easy to say in hindsight, but he was brilliant for us when he did play .. i was really pleased with the signing as felt we had a decent squad and we still bought in Rat, Adrian, Downing, J.Cole etc plus Ravel was coming back from loan. The transfer made sense - just unlucky this was a totally separate injury
I'm not saying it in hindsight, I said this in August. It was clear at the time WHU were stretching themselves with this buy and lets be honest when he is fit is goal scoring record isn't much to write home about.
A limited player for a limited manager and unfortunately for West Ham, Allerdyce doesn't appear to care. But why should he when his mates in the press will cheer him on to another Premier League job if he takes West Ham down
