Can't help thinking it's a bit sad when beating Spurs is seen as cause for printing t shirts and mugs.
Just think what kind of merchandise they will put out if they ever beat Chelsea.
Probably limited edition jellied eel and pie mash plates, with Big Fat Sam sat on a throne in a claret and blue pearly queen jacket, grinning inanely, whilst being fellated by Danny Dyer.

I don't think there's anything wrong in that, it's just banter and cross town rivalry. It's not that long ago that the only thing we could cling onto and use to wind the rags up was their location outside of Manchester.

I don't remember us bringing out commemorative mugs just for winning a derby match though, despite ironically doing it fairly often even when we were pretty shite.
There's nothing wrong with it as such - it just smacks of desperation to me.
I'm just waiting for the 'We Successfully Completed A 20 Pass Move' cup, although clearly it will have to wait until after Fat Sam is fired.
