West Ham Thread - 2023/24

Our current unbeaten run has been achieved playing in the Champions League against the cream of European opposition, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Dortmund, Inter Milan, Athletico Madrid to name but a few..

The Chosen One's team's efforts against teams who mainly qualified to play in a 3rd tier European competition shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath..
 
I know they won a 3rd rate European trophy last year, but you got to imagine this squad with someone like Emery could run the top 4 close.

I really don't think West Ham's squad is any worse than Villas yet the football the play is abysmal to watch.

No one moaned about our style of play when Moyes got us top 6/7 and our European run to semi final of Europa and winning conference.

it's when we lose a couple of games then all of a sudden we're ''terrible to watch''

unfair stick on Moyes, probably because he's British and doesn't carry a fancy foreign name.

we've played some truly great football under his tenure and watching Rice, Bowen, Benrahma has been a joy along with now Paquetta, Kudos looks also exciting.

Similar to our neighbours.
