I thought we were ok first half and should have gone in ahead, but second half was just vintage City. We could have scored several goal of the season contenders, Doku tore Coufal a new bum hole, Haaland got his obligatory goal after missing several sitters.

That save Eddie made from their corner at 1-1 was immense.

We looked vulnerable on corners but they will get most of their goals from set pieces and trouble a lot of sides.

Blue Hammer 85 deserves respect. You disrespect him by stating West Ham could have won the game when they were outplayed for 90 minutes. We could and probably should have won 8-1 yes. Haaland could have had the easiest of hattricks so far and missed two sitters Sterling no doubt would have put away.
I thought West Ham was set by Moyes the only way Moyes knows. I have a soft spot for West Ham but imho they were very mediocre as a team playing at home. And we were simply very good and progressing.

I was being honest. If Ederson doesn’t pull off that world class save they go 2-1 up with about 30 minutes left. Anything could have happened from there

Good result. Love the goal from Doku, with that sort of play, coupled with the ever present threat from haaland, Bernardo and Alvarez/KDB defenders aren’t going to have a clue what to do against us anymore.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we see 11 in net at some point

Thing is he only had 3 misses out of 9 shots. One miss was poor but their Keeper had a blinder.

Got back to see the highlights. It was a great game in all honesty. West Ham were a threat until the last period when they tired. Doku and Alvarez were so good.

It’s all about fitness, this team just keeps going or gets bursts of energy when other teams are tiring, it’s mark of a top team, the amount of goals scored in the 2nd half of games must be quite significant

Mixed bag. His volley was a great effort. He was unfortunate with the one cleared off the line. Don’t think he did much wrong when Kyle tee’d him up on a late break: keeper did well there.
