That unity is what Pep strives for. It’s why we recruit on character as much as football ability. When it comes to TEAM, we leave the rest in the dust.
 
Brilliant result, We should have killed them off in the first half but we fully deserved the points by far the better team.

Shout out to Kovacic, The lad is a fucking fabulous footballer! Rico, KDB, Bernie all superb.

Haaland, The best striker the league has ever seen. He's a monster.

And to think getting Stones in and back up to his best... Rodri doing the same and Foden...

Have to focus on the fundamentals, no switching off, support each other.

Haaland is putting the misses of last season behind him and he appears to be absolutely focused. He was disappointed on two occasions after the hatrick of chances he may have been able to capitalize on.
I worry a little about KDB as it feels 80+ minutes simply isn't in him anymore especially given his injury history but realize he's the type who'd rather play until something breaks vs. managing minutes.

Just happy to see this team... wish i could have got in the match thread but my son is home from first year at uni.

The Boys in Blue didn't give in they fought to the end. Thank you City, thank you lads, thank you fans. You showed 'em, you showed 'em all. Especially the Southern softie hammers, who couldn't even score their own goal, they had to let us do it for them. Father Reuben, Father Reuben please do not ever feel sorry for any of our opponents, they never felt sorry for us when we were up and down the leagues. :-)

Especially the know nowt, stupid, biased clodhopping, codswalloping fools we laughingly call the media. Ha, Ha, Ha, to you lot.

My streams wouldn’t work in the second half. All froze. Very frustrating but got my updates from in the match thread.

Even got the third goal posted.
Never slag off the match thread.
