Admittedly our makeshift defense struggled, too be fair our normal defense struggles with Antonio, but barring tgat we controlled and dominated a top 6 team, came back from 2 behind and could have snatched it.Even as VAR was cancerous as it usually is - yesterday our-players were fundamentally poor everyone was ghosting why is nobody mentioning that? Both on a team & individual level nobody turned up - i however think Grealish really stepped up the gears eventually and i feel sorry for Laporte he is being surrounded by players who he has to make up for - credit goes underrated. Hate to even give Liverpool a glimmer of hope - now u have those dickheads in the media already pretty much saying they are gonna win the league - bunch of

The players and the team set the expectations - me and you as a fan need to hold them accountable for that. Yeah u get a "off" game, yesterday was not an off game - we shot ourselves in the foot. All in all changed need to be made. Likewise when attackers play poor - someone else comes in, that should be the standard for defenders - next game we need changes in the lineup.F

It was easy to see how much ferna struggled against Antonio and that was targeted too.
Moyes was going mental during the game when they didn’t bypass midfield with a long ball for Bowen and Antonio to chase, also he mentioned it after then game that that was the plan and it was working too.
The runs those two were making all game really hurt us - with stone, walker, Dias - different game altogether.

If it's a formality, then the Redshite are better at formalities than we are. I spent the week before the QPR game musing over the possible outcomes, and the one that never got an airing was QPR leading on 90mins. I think SlippyG will defend, defend and defend some more, and instruct his forwards to go down anytime and every time they get in our area!
