my worst case scenario lineup (no Kova or Rodri)

Ederson
Lewis - Dias - Akanji - Gvardiol
Bernardo - Gundogan - KDB
Foden - Haaland - Savinho

Wingers are interchangeable, as are Foden and Bernardo. Doku tortured Coufal last time so wouldn't be that upset if he ended up starting, though they may start Wan-Bissaka instead
 
We have been susceptible to speedy counter attacks in the last year. Stopping them is key vs WHAM. If we nullify the counters we will trot out clear winners.
If Rodri can come back, that will be a big help. Kova to partner him? Or Bernado, if Phil can return to the attack.

Be interesting to see the make up of Carsley's squad.

Some of the 'vets' may be rested whilst Rico and others are assimilated.

I hope Carsley gets the job full time with Pep as an advisor.

I hope Nunes, Ake or McAtee also get game time if all is well (not so much Walker who can wait till after the intl break)

I think it's best to keep going with this pegging back system. And if it isn't working try something different.
