Be interesting to see where Pep will play Foden if/when everyone is fit.

Provided that Rodri and KDB are certs in midfield, Foden can play centrally if Bernie plays on the right or if all of Bernie/Gundo/Kova are on the bench. Obviously, Foden is much more of a goal threat than Gundo, but he can't control games like him.

Alternatively, Foden can play on the wings, even though he's not a pure winger like Savinho and Doku. A nice problem to have.

Guess that in big games Pep's likely to go with Bernie, Foden and Haaland in attack plus Rodri, Gundo and Kevin in midfield. Basically, Foden will replace Grealish from the Treble starting XI. Savinho and Doku to come on against tired legs with 20-30 minutes to go.
If Savinho keeps playing as well as he has begun he will be starting the big games. As I see it Grealish may find it very hard to get a regular starting place when everyone is fit. When Bobb returns he may find he is getting splinters from his time on the bench. He is one of a number of players who may be leaving us in the not to distant future.

This is a tough selection.
We've got some top players ready to come back in but, injuries permitting, i can't see Pep changing a winning side. So, same again for me too...

Ederson
Lewis
Akanji
Dias
Gvardiol
Bernardo
Kovacic
KDB
Savinho
Haaland
Doku

Savinho keeps playing like he has and he might be first choice of the wingers. Dude has menaced the first two teams.

100% on Savinho. And Bobb. And Grealish. But with latter i choose not to believe. Like Jack so much. Really hope he improves. Hes been absolute starter in Treble season. He adds much to our game. Im sure hes great spirit for the dressing room too

Same team if Kova is fit.

We have a strong and flexible bench if it's needed.

WHAM are unlikely to be a push over & there could be plenty of goals.

The international break/games offers the chance then for players to either continue their rest, fitness train or play for
1 their national get in sharp condition.

This year the break probably comes at the right time, after a good start & then into a winnable run of games including a 6 pointer v arse.
