Yesterday's win has just papered over the cracks in our squad.

We should have lost that game yesterday to a very very poor Leicester side, with a 37 year old striker giving our defenders the run around!!

On another day Vardy wins and scores a penalty and the easy chance from 6 yards, also forcing Oretega into a good save from a Gvardiol brain freeze.

West Ham are a lot better than Leicester and have more threat from individual players like Bowen. Kudos etc..

Not as bad as you say. Vardy was offside so the penalty is irrelevant. If he had been onside, it is a completely different play. Yes he should have scored the lob volley from pointblank range, but then again Haaland also had 2 that he would normally make. Our performance was less than impressive and will need to improve dramatically, but we were better than Leicester (whatever that signifies) over the 90 mins

He is already - my best mate is a hammers fan and they all absolutely love him. 100% attitude and fight every time he plays.

I think it will be easier for a Centre back to play in midfield. I also think it’ll help stop the current run of every single team running through the heart of us. If stones is fit he obvs plays over Walker but as always I have my doubts.

Just seen no Bowen for them. That is a massive boost for us, they've still got plenty of pace in the side for our tortoise paced backline and non-existent midfield to cope with though and sadly, right now, literally all you need to cause us a shit tonne of problems is a bit of pace.
