So why are they struggling?

Good question !

Firstly, currently we’re not . Lost one in our last ten

No denying the poor results in the earlier part of season , we just never got going really. Had a few unlucky matches where it could have gone either way and lost them. Massive hit to confidence, negativity crept in.

big injuries to Aguard, Zouma, Scammaca, Cornet and a few others

New signings struggled to settle in, Paqueta especially but now he looks the real deal

Also, we aren’t the only club that’s struggled this season , the whole bottom half have been in a relegation fight all season, and then even in top half many teams have been woeful (Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool ) … it’s been a weird season where only a handful of clubs have played consistently well.

So overall, not the best season, but glad we didn’t sack Moyes - he’s turned it around and has given us a chance of some silverware this season .

Confidence seems to have returned and WHAM will be well clear of trouble soon.
Lots of talk about Moyes leaving at end of season, but they did that once before and had to backtrack. Sacking him would be just stupid.
City too suffered from a lack of consistency until the current surge. Back four fit makes all the difference.

Exactly right
Unfortunately some fans today stick to their guns and the manager can do no right.

Moyes has given us the best few years in my lifetimes being a hammers fan.

I hope they loose them next game, but definitely to win the uefa conference League cup,and stay in premier League...

West Ham will not attract a better manager than Moyes. Keep him there, back him with some investment and he gets stronger - and the team will follow. They need to bring through the next big 'West Ham' boy, or 2, to start flying again - and put 2 or 3, who are 33 and 34, out to grass. They've just about got away with them this season, but they need a reset for next season, imho.

Hopefully, they do the decent thing and just enjoy watching an exhibition match from the champions tomorrow.
