Joe can dominate his area, give the defence confidence and save the "one on ones" a lot more effectively. He's 5 years younger than Bravo and PL proven. Altogether a much better Keeper.

I think we would be Top of the PL if we had kept Hart. I don't envisage it will happen but it's good to hear such a respected player as Lampard sharing the same views.

442Diamond worked a treat tonight

Excellent performance. Silva magical. Only nitpicks would be a) Stones let Antonio waltz into the area for the Feghouli chance and b)Aguero should have setup Sterling instead of shooting.

First time for a while we played the sort of passing game we were doing at the start, 92% accuracy too. Really impressive

It was a bit of a soft one to be fair, Zabba knew what he was doing, but who cares.

I've been critical of Bravo, because he isn't very good, and Willy, while a better keeper, isn't top draw either.

We need a top quality keeper if we are to seriously challenge for honours. A great goalie is paramount, and we don't have one at the moment.

Think back to the great sides that dominated in the past. Liverpool, with Clemence and Grobbelaar, United with Schmeichal and Van De Sar. Go back further, and Derby County with Colin Boulton, Nottingham Forest with Peter Shilton. I could name some more, and not just in England.

I'm not saying we should recall Hart, but he was a much better keeper than our current squad members, and he received how many golden glove awards while he was with us? Was it four?

There is no chance our current keepers will receive that accolade because they aren't good enough to stop shots as well as Hart did.

We need a better first choice goalie than the one we currently have, and we let a superb shot stopper go for a player who is, frankly, shit at his job.

We will not win anything with Bravo between the posts, and I never thought that when Hart was our keeper.

I was going to pull up @gordondaviesmoustache on his "blud" and "fam" comments, some of my best friends say "blud" and "fam" ;-) But then I saw him claiming Yaya was the best to pull on the shirt, after that performance from Silva! So I assume he's been at the G&T's so willing to let it slide ;-)

The whole team played well though, the fluidity reminded me of our early season form, particularly away at Steaua which os one of the best I've ever seen City play. Yaya, Silva, Sterling and Aguero all at their very best. Silva was the stand out for me though, and comes on the back of his superb display against Arsenal and second halves against Liverpool, Burnley. He's quietly in superb form without too many people taking notice.

Great boost for the confidence and it was badly needed. However, you mentioned Steaua an early season attacking fluid performance. The problem is that few if any teams will
allow us the freedom and space to tear them to shreds that Steaua and West Ham did. So really we are back to seeing if we are capable of putting those kind of performances together against tougher opposition. The next 2 games will tell us most of what we need to know.
