Never mind the result, Rolf Harris was in the crowd. Just to the right of the angle of the bar and post.

Well spotted. I see Alex Salmond the recent SNP Leader was also there bottom left just up from the Steward...

Excellent physics lesson.

Presumably we can use the same idea to even out the effort changes of each player (depending on their proximity to the action) rather than using hills to illustrate it. ?

Then 5 hours 6 times a week rather than 2x45 mins 2 times a week.

See that photo above where Kun had a shot in the 64th minute? Well it didn't go in to the net, it hit the bar.

Footballers can play for a million hours, but if the ball doesn't go into the net then you don't win the match.

Like you said yourself, how you are comparing the two sports which vastly different is beyond me.

Cyclists have a bike to aide them, and all of their energy goes into a bike. Footballers are playing directly on a surface, twisting and turning constantly, stretching for balls, getting kicked in ankles, etc.

By the way I aint having a go at cyclists, it's a hard sport, but a totally different one from football.

Of course they are different sports I was just trying to compare fitness or maybe lack of fitness.
The ability to compete in that particular sport whatever it is for hours on end does seem to indicate fitness to me.

I am thinking that perhaps the emphasis for footballers is more on their ability to twist and turn as you mention and maybe the ability to work at that skill consistently for periods of time (fitness) has been a secondary consideration.

Teams, never mind individual players, have in the past used sheer hard work to overcome skill differentials but my particular hero (Colin Bell) was an example of an ideal combination of the two.

I just spotted Spike Lee behind the three blokes above the steward.
Lampard just above the steward bottom left.

At least we now have the answer to the age old question, namely ''who ate all the pies?''. 4th (?) row back from the front, in line with and to the right of Kun's right shoulder.
