I actually work with a genuine Millwall fan and he plays football as well at a good amateur level. A belting lad and knows the game inside out like most football fans.
We discussed the game and he said that Millwall's Bushwackers had been waiting for this game for years as they were "pissed off" about films like "The Firm" and "Green Street" making out West Ham were the number one firm in the country.
He said yesterday that the clubs should of banned away fans as everyone in the country knew it was a recipe for disaster.
Like him i agreed that both clubs should accept a bit of blame as they both never once made statements pushing them away from the publicity those films gave their clubs and supporters in the football world. They are tagged around the world as being the "Two Main" hooligan clubs in the country.
Sadly though you can be sure the guy who got stabbed was innocent.
I would not be surprised if he is dead and the police are waiting till it calms down before announcing it.
