The international full backs seen a bit faster and quicker to recover than their WSL counterparts too. Lauren did a lovely chip over the fullback in the 2nd half who was wrong footed but the right back was quick enough to recover and win the ball.Bright has been strong and reliable throughout. I do wonder with Lauren If she has been a little affected by the weight of expectation. She had a fair bit of press about how she will shine at these championships.
I agree with your point plus I think Lauren’s main weakest in the tournament so far has been failing to anticipate chances from crosses that White has missed. I know these were unexpected chances but Lauren will be a world beater if she can add that anticipation to her game. Still my favourite player in the WSL along with Chloe Kelly
