I know what you're saying but toure played in 10 games last season, it's not much but if we want to take comp serious then we need an understudy to fern who will play 10+ games a season.

Fern played 35 ish games last year, he played another 10 or so for Braz, on too of this he is another year older and we should be prepared for dips in form and performance.

Also even though yaya only played 10 games he played a big part in training, our squad would have benefited from playing with him day in day out in training. Dont think you can under estimate that.

This is a myth. Not sure what you can learn by watching someone run around a cone(or in Yaya's case...walk). Maybe a bit of positional sense when they finally get a game in training, but those are the basics anyway. Maybe you might get more inspired to train harder watching someone train hard, but we're talking about Yaya here. And before you ask...No, I'll never forgive the c@@t! ;)

The last 2 times we won the title we sat still and others caught up. Again others are improving their squads and again were pretty much sitting still. Brilliant as last year was it wont be repeated. City need to help Ferna and to me internally we have nowt of a standard that helps us kick on. Another body is required unless Pep can work his undoubted magic and improve say Delph further still so he could slot on. Alot of work required.

Didn't Ilkay win every game he played there against the top teams?
 
The biggest issue is Gundogan, we cannot depend on him as a DM in the big games he simply isnt powerful enough Going to Anfield as our DM and we end up like the uk going to the Eurovision nil-poi

Don’t think we have enough, but reckon we’ll struggle getting a plan B in the time remaining...

Think we'd be ok over the course of a 38 game premier league season but where a problem could arise is the latter stages of the champions league. I'm hoping we could have a Delph at LB moment with Gundogan where none of us could see it working but it turns out to be a stroke of genius.
 
If there isn’t quality available I really hope we dont panic buy another rodwell/sinclair/fernando. You cant shift them 6/12 months later when something does open up worth splashing out on. If this is our squad, its a bloody good one and we crack on
 
Hoping some of the younger lads get proper time on the pitch this season if we don't get anymore in.
