What’s your favourite individual best season from any City era

apparently after spending the season running up and down hills in glossop. looked world class for half a season
Hughes really got the best out of him that season and he linked well with Robinho. Shame he didnt maintain that level, Mancini clearly didnt fancy him.

Damn right, the most joyful season by a City player I can remember - for him and us
The season he really became a cult hero. After promotion v Gillingham in '99 there were many blues who doubted his abilities to perform at Championship level. Think it is sometimes forgotten that he was something of a boo boy in his first year or so with us. Showed great character to become an iconic player in our history.

Yaya 13/14 if I had pick one.

Absolutely phenomenal and probably the greatest season of any City player.
I know Ya Ya was a bit of a dick off the field but I would love to see City take the moral high ground and give him his statue at some future stage. I know many will disagree but it would be a really great gesture for City to rise above his personality issues (and his agent). He really was a magnificent player for City plus he gave birth to one of the best ever football chants.

Dead heat for me between 1967/68 and 2011/12.

The 1967/68 because I went to every league match because I had a feeling we were going to do something special, it also included a brilliant win at the Swamp after falling behind to an early goal. King Colin and all the rest

The 2011/12 because I witnessed something that will never happen again in my life time. From sitting with my head in my hands for almost all of the second half, I was transported to a state of euphoria the like of which I had never experienced either before or since. Aguerooooo and all the rest.

have i read the title wrong, i thought it was best season. Anyway, 78/79 and 11/12.

Yaya 2013/14 I think it was. He was the best midfielder in the world and right up with Messi and Ronaldo in terms of the best player in the world. I don't think KdB comes close to Yaya at his peak.

He was a big game player and I've lost count of big goals he has scored for us. Left foot, right foot, dribbling, passing, penalties and free kicks. He literally had the lot.

And to think he played central defence for Barcelona once!!!
