What’s your worst holiday experience, destination?

Empty. Before Covid it was still attracting the ten Bob millionaires and assortment of bellends and brass but it holds a certain charm. I'm only a 45 minute drive from there so probably head over for the night with my missus every couple of months to see friends who have business there.
It's not somewhere I'd choose to stay on an extended holiday but a couple of nights is doable.
Bellends and Brass, lol, exactly as I remember it, the accommodation on site was top notch, we had a couple of town houses and the golf courses were good but it was just to seedy at nighttime. I was ill there as well, got laryngitis, cost me about €200 for a taxi and doctors fees. I know that area quite well, where do you live?

Went on holiday with friends in the mid 90's to Port el kantaoui, Tunisia. Had a great time, chilled beautiful place.

Went again mid 2000's with my Mrs for a nice romantic holiday, same hotel resort, it was about 80% full of Russian cunts. Absolutely shit faced by about 10am, no concept of queuing, fights at every meal time, couple of attempted rapes as they just walked in to people's chalets. Luckily they mostly just fought amongst themselves.

Stayed there in May 1999. Got some money back from the tour operator as they never told us about the "street furniture" installation work being done outside the hotel every day for the first week, even though they knew about it. Drilling, etc, directly below our room from 8-6. Then the rags winning the CL in the "famous night in Barcelona" really pissed me off - the place was crawling with them!
Since then, have stayed many times in Palma Nova - much more (ahem) gentille in comparison. My nephew always arranged the accommodation, as he was (at the time) the head rep of First Choice for the Spanish islands.
Went for a week on a freebie with the wife. Lasted a day before getting a car and going to Soller, which is a different world.
Went back to Magaluf for the last day/night and decided if you can't beat em etc. An afternoon on stella before dropping an e and raving in 'Bananas'

I was on a 6 month jaunt round SEA and the way certain flight prices and my budget had worked out it had me there 6 days before moving on, in the end it worked out the extra 3 days expense I saved covered changing my flights.

If I ever went back I would go for 1-2 nights only
had 3 nights there and loved Buges street market

Haven, Hafany Mor, holiday park. North Wales.

2006ish cant really remember the year. But it didnt stop bloody raining until the Saturday we left.

The apartment looked like a prison, the front door had graffiti on it and a hole kicked in it. It was so bad my brain cant really remember it. We asked to be moved but they said as we have a dog you get the shit apartments or words to that effect ! ;(

We went up some miniature railway at porthmadog one evening in the pouring rain, go back about 8:30 the whole place was shut ! No chippies or anything and this was a spring school holiday. Mind you Porthmadog did look abit of a dump.

Wasnt one of our best holidays !

Not a shithole but beware of La Manga on the Costa Blanca. A lot of club and International teams used to go there, it's where the some of Leicester team got caught with their trousers down a few years ago. It's a rip off, shite service and full of brass, never again. Even the barmaid at the pub on site was a part time prossy, she gave my mate a "menu" with her prices on it, golf courses were good though:-)

We used to go on holiday to La Manga quite a bit when I was a kid. Nice place if I remember rightly.

Never been a fan of beach holidays but about 15 years ago my wife said we should give them another go so booked 10 days in Corfu.

By day 3, we realised we really really don’t like beach holidays and sacked it off, booked internal flights to Athens and had a week there instead which was ace.

The next door neighbour bagged a cheap holiday to Spain for 17 days in the early eighties and kept mithering us to join them. We were to travel by luxury coach to a quaint Spanish village called Callella De Pallafrugel (not to be confused with Callella from the Barca run) and we were to stay in a four man family frame tent with pool, clubhouse and entertainment.

The coach driver was like Sid James out of the Carry on films who's only function in life was to get inside the hostesses knickers by mid France. The hostess was flirting like a dirty dog on heat with her tits constantly spilling out over her noodle stained Sun Holiday's crop top.

We were right beside the toilet and the overpowering smell of stale turd and grunting noises from behind that wafer thin panel was horrendous. One old dear was inside the booth for at least half an hour and after she had done her ablution we had to breath through our mouths for at least twenty miles as her shit was that potant.

They said food was readily available but all they served us on our 25 hour journey to Spain was beef and tomato pot noodle.

When we got there we had to line up to get our blankets and mattresses which we had to then physically drag half a mile to the sites boundary like a scene reminiscent of Tenko. The tent was rough as toast and it stunk of piss and damp as it was end of season. It rained heavily that night and although it was weather proof the area around our tent had transformed into a quagmire of mud. I think we had about four days of good weather which raised moral greatly.

The other half said we should never have gone as the neighbour had previous form for penny pinching as she clearly picked the cheapest holiday she could find at end of season by coach and in a tent. The only way she could have got it any cheaper was if we'd traveled to Mons and stayed in a foxhole.

The second week they transferred us all up the road to a nice place called Estarat in a 1 star hotel as we were waterlogged. It was luxury .. proper luxury.
