Sorry if someones asked you this already but what are your views on De Jong as a player based on what you've seen of him?

Personally, I think he's a good hard working player in the engine room. He had a slow start fitting in here but eventually settled in and became an important piece of the puzzle. He was a popular player (hence I think he would have gotten cheers and applause if he was playing, when name was read out) but we don't really miss him because of how well Alex Silva and Mikael Tavares have done :-)
