Well, vodka. But if I buy cheap Aldi-like vodka (Rachmaninov or Glens or some such stuff) I drink the full bottle, then go to bed. But if I'm on Smirnoff.. I can't get through it. They are the same alcohol %tage though.
Quite strange. Psychological? Or lies?

Been following this thread for while , gave up alcohol for lent ( good Catholic lad ) , had a few beers on Easter Sunday when it finished and then not really been arsed about having a proper drink . However after a crap day at work today have just sat down and had a few glasses of Talisker , the only single malt from the Isle of Talisker , absolutely amazing when you have not had anything like it for a while

Fuck me. Back in the hotel majestic (it's not) finished dinner with some sort of spirit that tasted like shit brandy but they said was seven year old rum
