I am cooking for 28 down my local social club.

G&T, Champagne, Helles/Bitter and Vin Rouge with the coq au vin I’m making. Bought three bottles of French red. One for the pot and two for drinking.

This will be my last swansong before easing off before my extended drinking sabbatical in the new year. I always ease off after Christmas Day anyway. Never been arsed about NYE which is overpriced and overrated imo.

tbf its just a sunday roast with a few extra trimmings, a fry up 3-4 hrs before is just a normal weekends fare
