According to Wiki the true fera is extinct. So instead of getting Cod mate, you've been given Pangasius. In other words, you've been stitched up like a kipper, or in this case, stitched up like a fera.

Apparently it disappeared in 1922 but a similar fish has been reintroduced. Tasted alright anyway with a couple of glasses of Sancerre :-)
