Does anyone know apart from buying you tube premium how to skip ads, my player has stopped the ability and now only says block add and then plays the whole ad! You tube is becoming unwatchable now.

Have you used brave browser. This usually blocks you tube ads.

I pay now as my time is precious but there was a point in the last fortnight when I was way way off grid and mighty thankful of the You-Tube Premium Version, as I stored a weeks worth of content to watch at my leisure.

I have thought about the Indian work around I might try that but I’m not paying uk prices for it. The way it’s going YouTube will eat itself it’s getting ridiculous with ads now it’s becoming unwatchable for millions.

I think l'm right in saying if you run youtube on Brave browser it's ad free. Someone mentioned it on here a few months back.

The workaround IS to connect your PC to your TV and make it a genuinely smart TV.

Apps sometimes get recalled and stop working and it's easy to force you to watch ads, it's either that or just enjoy the adverts.
