What are your unpopular opinions on City that you believe 100%?

He's too erudite for some. Makes them suspicious. And he's intelligent enough to see the bigger picture and not play it like we are the City of 2008 who's entire season rested on our derby results.

I think you can see it in a lot of the replies in this thread.

I don't know if you've noticed this - but I have - there is more criticism of things surrounding our current team than there was back in 11/12. Which is wild when you consider what this group of players have achieved in the last few years.

The team performs better with a midfield 3 of Silva, Rodri and Gundo (ie no KDB).

Stones is our best Central Defender.

Peps selection of Gundo in the holding role (no Ferna or Rodri) and Sterling on the left (moving Foden) cost us dearly in the CL final.

We paid well over the odds for Jack Graelish and he was an unnecessary signing.

That's not controversial just good old common sense. Maybe Dias over stones but it's more a partnership thing.

Pellegrini was an absolute disaster of a manager.

3 seasons of 4-4-2

Lucked out a league title due to a (hilarious) slip.

Almost cost us CL football in his last season with West Ham doing us a massive favor beating United 2nd to last game so we could finish above them on GD.

Constantly rushed back Aguero and Kompany from injuries which cost them dearly further down the line, because he couldn't get the required results with his own signngs.

Some of my "unpopular" opinions amongst other fellow City fans:

- Laporte and Stones are both more talented CBs than Dias.
- Gundo is our best midfielder
- Sterling is our best attacking player
- Yaya was the most influential signing we've made since the takeover.

What are some of your guys' unpopular opinions?

Perfect example of how "there's no such thing as a wrong opinion" is bollocks.

Sorry, but the idea that any player who Pep's kept around for this long is anything other than very good is completely laughable.

Grealish is hugely overrated.

Jesus, great lad, fantastic endeavor/attitude but not sure he is a good player.

Not interested in any way with the City ladies team.
