What book are you reading now / or recommend?

Police, Crime & 999 by John Donoghue. Really funny stories of John's time in the police force.

Quick search through the thread suggests that no one has mentioned the Falco series by Lindsey Davis. There's no shortage of novels set in ancient Rome, and they tend to be pretty meh most of the time. These ones are beautifully done, and bring the city to life in a way few others have ever managed.

Just finished Ready Player One. Not exactly Shakespeare, but I found the 80’s nostalgia irresistible, especially the classic video games that figured heavily in the plot.

Next up is Rothfuss’ Kingkiller chronicles.
Bit of advice - might be better off waiting for the lazy **** to finish the last book first. Been a bit frustrating waiting seven years and counting. Great series so far though.
