What "Classic" songs do you hate with a passion?

Absolutely, along with Canon in d and Nessun Dorma.
Not keen on AA trying to mimic Terry's Old Geezers.
I’ve got loads of classical stuff on CDs and on my phone, so never have to tune in to it. It’s only when others have it on that I am subjected to the same 75 pieces of classical music.

It’s such a shame. There’s so much good stuff out there.

Mull of Kintyre - Wings
Sailing - Rod Stewart

Aimless self indulgent meanderings about nothing in particular. You can only get away with this kind of nonsense if you're already famous.

Ironically, it is said that Pachelbel was probably the first to use the "Magic 4", (I, IV, V and vi) in "Canon" 300 years ago.
But you are right, virtually every pop song uses the same 4 chords.

It’s always been a fundamental structure of music, even in symphonies.

The art of transitioning to the relative minor seems lost these days.

(Russell Brand allegedly aside)

Brass In Pocket boring boring boring
Alright Now overplayed pish from a pretty good band actually
Tears In Heaven I know the tragic background to this song but sorry I just hate it
Uptown Girl....don't mind Billy Joel at all but this is just shit
