What did Robbie do wrong exactly?

If i was subbed off in an important game where everyone was shit, despite being one of the only players who looked like creating something, id be annoyed aswell

it wasnt like he went mental and spat on the fans before wiping his arse on the badge, he high fived the sub, shook the managers hand and walked down the tunnel.

What exactly is the problem with that?

Robbie did nothing wrong, don't blame him for going down the tunnel, he was walking off thinking i can't actually believe i play for this idiot, hughes and robinho have never got on IMO, world class player with an inept manager, unfortunetely only one outcome.

used as the scapegoat again, i can name at least 7 players who had a worse game than Robbie last night.

maybe he went down the tunnel because he was gutted he was so ineffective.

personally I think he was freezing his nuts off and the idea of a hot bath was too good to let go.

He was shite and has been shite on too many occassions - as was his best mate, Elano, before him. And Elano was shit under Sven. It's obviously a mentality thing with that type of player and has nowt to do with the manager. These type of players are creative types and are not work-horses. It's no point in having a go at Robbie - or Hughes - it's just the way it is.

If you don't want shirkers - don't buy those type of players! They're the final piece in the jigsaw and NOT what we need at the moment. IMHO of course.

That's hit the nail on the head.

It seems to me that we have too much icing and too little cake.

The luxury players are great but if you don't have the less glamorous players to provide that spadework, then they cannot strut their stuff.

Robinho would be a great player in a great side but unless he is in that great side, he'll never be a great player.

So De Jong, who was also soaking wet, and may I add getting over swine flu, must be a 2nd class citizen sitting out in the rain!
Or maybe he's not an imature, selfish, over pampered child!

De Jong was fucking shite and was mouthing off at the ref like a fucking baby, and he threw his jacket away like a petulant child

But lets gloss over that and get back to slagging Robbie.

I heard he drowns kittens

lol. I agree it's a complete non-story that he didn't go to sit on the bench. He did have a shocking game but was better than Adebayor. The whole team were shit tbh, not helped by very poor tactics.

tbh i don't think he walked off because he was in a strop, he just realised he'd left the iron on.

i dont undestand this relentless pursuit of slagging off a top city player, lets face it they were all shit last night.
Lets at least 'rotate the hate'

Here goes:

De Jong what a useless twat, not upto the pace in the PL, poor on the ball and couldnt break up a 5 yr olds party in midfield, didnt even wave to our supporters when he came off, shit attitude.

Next ;)

lol, i like it

I was amongst Spurs fans last night and they couldn't believe (before the game) that Robinho was to play. "I thought he doesn't like playing away in mid week games in the winter" etc.
Sadly they were right.
