imo, of the squad from last season,i think there is very little need to change anything,just looking through the squad i dont think there isnt a player than wont be 5% better than last season

hart still young growing in stature every season

richards one to watch out for,think he was dropped at the end of last season because zabba is a little more switched on

clichy was brilliant both attacking and defending.

alex kolarov gets a lot of unfair stick on these board,will improve and be great for us next season as imo was this season

kompany and lescott will imo only get better as a unit.NEED CB COVER


silva,nasri,again will improve,nasri started slowly but imo was a big plus in the run in,now he will be more settled.

yaya,de jong,yaya will carry on where he left off,we need to re sign de jong awesome holding midfielder

barry awesome very underated player,however maybe needs some one to replace as the season goes on


our front 4,donr need replacing at all.
aguero will improve,balotelli will mature a little,edin will do the business as he has always done,and tevez(****) cant do any less than he did last season.


MILNER will always do a job for us.

AJ needs to pull his socks up ,NEED BACK UP TO PUSH AJ ON.

the big plus for us next season will be the knowledge we are the best team,that will give us the right type of arrogance ,i can see us getting 89 points again next season at least

I am not sure that is necessarily right Mancio we could easily better the Chelsea of last year, inter of two years ago, Liverpool of 7 years ago and Rags of 4 years ago if things go our way. I don't think we need a step up but I do think we need cover on par with our current players in the first team in these positons if we want to make it easier and not rely on draw etc

Just need a couple really Javi Martinez cover in the middle and can play CB, then just an out and out winger someone we could get cheap like Junior Hoilett. It would just give us another dimension when teams park the bus as it where but I agree that no drastic overhaul is needed.


Probably give AJ the boot though, a winger that has no pace and always cuts inside.

imo we did compete with top european teams,we finished the group on 10 point the usual amount to get through,then its a lottery after that.
i think we will get out of the group stages next season,because at the end of the day we surely cant get as tough a group as we did last season.

Young players are great but I think if we want a chance to compete in the champions league we need to go for experience this window.
Sneijder(28) and De Rossi(28) for me, 2 players who have huge amounts of experience and can drive the team forward.

We don't need a striker unless someone leaves.
We don't play with wingers but if we could get someone cheap with pace to bring on as a plan B if things aren't working that could help.

Yeah, it's true this. If you look at is in the champions league last season we struggled against Bayern and Napoli. We need champions league experienced players coming in.

When I started a thread saying Song would be a great signing for us I got slaughtered! Glad to see some share my views, he is a great player and would be good to have him competing with Barry & De Jong.

And for some suggestions for a quick winger that wouldn't break the bank how about Blaszczykowski or Navas? Or if we want to go really cheap and for someone content to just play every now and then what about Diego Castro at Getafe?
