Run my own management company, but was previously employed by various record companies as a an A&R manager. I am also a playwright who has had at least one play produced and toured across Europe and the US. If all goes well this time next year I'll also be able to say I'm a film director.

Have you written a screenplay then? What stage are you at with funding etc?

Screenplay is finished. There's a french production company who love it and are currently raising the finance via the French Film Council and some independent investors. There's pressure on me to get a director because i'm very new to directing but it isn't going to happen. I want to direct it so won't be giving up anything to anyone who insists on anything different.

It's a fair cop.

At this precise moment in time I'm sitting on my arse doing fuck all (well I'm going fishing and for the odd round of golf) and I'm earning something like £850 a week. Life is pretty good :-)

Wicked. Me and a friend are working on a screenplay when our schedules allow (she's an actual filmmaker already, I'm an amateur...) but nowhere near that stage yet. Good luck with it.
