What Do You Hate Most About Bluemoon

Like everyone else I am deeply offended by having to look at this ship at the top of my screen and the second 'o' is wrong

I am not deeply offended by that ship. Please do not lump me in your post.
To me the ship represents the fight our ancestors had to help the slaves:

Lincoln's great debt to Manchester

In 1863, The US President wrote to the 'working men of Manchester' thanking them for their anti-slavery stance
When cotton was king, Manchester's busy textile mills dressed the world. Because of this, great fortunes were made and ordinary families were fed. But in 1862, Lancashire mill workers, at great personal sacrifice, took a principled stand by refusing to touch raw cotton picked by US slaves.

On the other side of the Atlantic, President Lincoln's Northern Union was waging war against a breakaway of southern states. Having already linked the south with the institution of slavery, Lincoln persuaded European importers that his blockade of slave picked cotton was a legitimate tool in defeating the Confederacy and restoring the union.

I actually object more that they wrote 'working men' of Manchester and not working people of Manchester but hey ho that was of the time.

EB - It was just an extension of the running joke from the Guardian ship article thread, naturally most rationally minded people would not be offended by the ship. I did throw in the second o in the title was misspelt just to make sure it was understood that the post was in jest -

Although looking at the second 'o' again, it is in the shape of a crescent so maybe Ric got coerced into doing that by our owners ;-)

Oh I'm so sorry, I just get so uptight when anyone 'criticises' our flag. I do apologise. :-)

It's the tension I think, it's building up and I must stop it or my BP will go up again!! :-)

Too fucking right cunty bollocks.

I fucking never fucking use bad fucking language to emphasise a fucking point
That reminds me of a parent we once asked to come into school about her child because of his bad language (he was 8 yrs old) and she said, I don't swear word know where he swear word gets it swear word from swear word the little swear word!! She ranted on like that for another three or four sentences and then it suddenly dawned on her... she was totally mortified and actually blushed bright red, I don't think I've ever seen anyone go that red before. :-) We all had a good laugh about it, myself the Headteacher and the parent. The lad did calm down after that. :-) :-)

Nothing wrong with bullying a 60 something year old disabled woman on the internet. Man up.
Ergh should the 'something' be there ? Be very careful she'll have your balls for breakfast. Our Kaz is 59.

Permanently (runs)

Just start with the assumption that all the nutters on there are bitter rags or dippers and it makes more sense.

Paranoia may work for you as a coping strategy Mr Cheese but please note that’s it’s an addictive delusion and if you don’t kick the habit you could end up as a broken soul posting about invented conspiracies on RAWK . . . ;-)
