Steve penk ex dj at piccadilly radio , does anyone remember on the match commentary in the eighties everytime a goal was scored they would say ITS A GOAL and go straight to the ground , also he went on to do a few tv programmes of his own .

I remember that, also, if a goal went in against a north west side, the news was greeted with an 'Oh Nooo' before they went off to the ground...

A lot better than Jeff Stelling and Phil Thompson etc talkin arse!

Forgot about the Oh nooo went the goal went against you, I used to get a sick feeling when i heard that hoping it was'nt against city !

now owns the revolution radio station in oldham..

I did not know that , i have not heard of him for a while now he moved down south for a long while .Did'nt he do wind ups on the radio or am i getting him mixed up with someone else ?

Alan Carr was a fan as his dad Graham was chief scout for us for years, now Newcastle scout.

Dirk Benedict's son was on trial with but it's dubious.
