Haha. Breast of lamb brought back a few memories. Looked like such a huge piece of meat for about 50p. Used to call it Lena Zavaroni's Ribs. Was just a kid at the time so hopefully can be excused for that.

I used to liek them as a kid but they taste vile to me now.
I'm with you there.
They always promise much but can't think I have ever had a nice one.
But in expectation or hope I keep trying. Took one to work today. Bleeding awful.
I don't know where abouts you are but if you ever get chance to try Wienholts of Alderley Edge, their pork pies are to die for. Yum yum;)

My missus has just hit me for a six with this weird and sounds awful shit ... chicken NECK.She says when she used to stay with an aunt,who was in 60`s back in the late 1950`s,used to work on a chicken farm and slaughter them.Once the head and neck was chopped off,the staff were allowed to take the necks home and they would be put in a large pot and boiled and then they would pick at the necks and get a smidgeon of meat.
I mean WTF.

Cheers Andy. It's a pity it's not a cake shop/deli. I usually end up buying half a dozen vanillas for family and friends when I'm at Wienholts.
