What food do you hate, that at one time you ate.

My missus has just hit me for a six with this weird and sounds awful shit ... chicken NECK.She says when she used to stay with an aunt, who was in 60`s back in the late 1950`s,used to work on a chicken farm and slaughter them.Once the head and neck was chopped off,the staff were allowed to take the necks home and they would be put in a large pot and boiled and then they would pick at the necks and get a smidgeon of meat.
I mean WTF.
They make a fine stock so I am told

Tongue. I used to love tongue butties when I was a kid and I still remember the exact moment I found out what tongue actually was.
"Gran, what meat is tongue"
"eh? it's tongue"
"I know it's tongue, but what sort of meat is it"
""It's tongue, it's a cows tongue. What did you think it was?"
Cue me spitting it out and never eating it again.

haha stony I was exactly the same as you. I was about eleven before I realised that it was actually tongue, never gone near it since then.

I was watching a video on youtube of some guy having a night out in Tijuana and he went in some fast food place and ordered a plate of deep fried chicken necks, knocked me sick the dirty bastard.

When I was a kid we used to have sterilised milk( stera )and I could drink it out of the bottle had it on all cereals and in tea ,but even the smell of it now makes me want to chuck up.
