What's happened has happened, so for people to sit wringing their hands from upon a moral high horse really achieves nothing at all.

I'm with you Chris; it would have been preferable for it not to have happened, but now that it has I can certainly see the funny side of it.

The sight of Ferdinand with his face covered in blood was not funny. I'd have thought that would be the overwhelming feeling from any football fan on or off any moral high horse

Must admit, in general life when most people (myself included) see a cocky, loud mouth twat who loves to think of himself as 'cool' takes a fall then most people see (and like) the funny side of it eventually, so I don't really see why this should be any different, the fact Ferdinand himself is making jokes about it says quite a bit for me.

I found it a bit funny too. If it'd taken his eye out then I wouldn't. I guess that's where my line is. Sometimes when you behave like a dick you come unstuck.

Glib little **** was not so cock sure back in May and shouldn't be today. They were second best all over yesterday but took their very few chances. It's the sort of win we used to manage when we were shit and they were great.

I've only been able to skim this thread but have their been any comments on how badly the Police did when escorting the pitch invader out? It took too many Police and then they dragged him through the away fans which gave U****d fans the chance to rush in with digs.

There was nothing of the Lad at all and all it would've took was 2 burly Coppers to eject him. We're supposed to believe the Police do a good job in difficult circumstances but that was spectacularly wrong in front of so many people.

Didnt watch it last night (couldnt bear it to be honest) but did MOTD2 show either of Rooney's celebrations for the first 2 goals? The first where he slid on his knees towards the city fans and the second where he ran towards the family stand before Rio did his usual charge 80 yards up the pitch to join in the celebrations by jumping on the scorers shoulders just as everyone else has finished?
