What has Redknapp started?

There are incidents in every game, but the newsworthy incidents are the ones that gwt highlighted i.e a manager squealing, or anything that Mario or Rooney does. Difference is that Rooney seems to get away with most of his offences whereas Mario does not

Did anyone see Cabaye's "stamp" on one of the Brighton defenders yesterday? Similar to Balotelli's except it looked like he actually made contact. Haven't heard anything about it today though...

The one where he forcibly kicked the Brighton player in the face after the whistle didn't get blown for a foul. The one that was without doubt intentional and a lot worse than Balotelli's? Yeah I saw it. This one should result in a 3 match ban if they want to appear 'consistent' in some shape or form.

This was what Platt was on about in the last press conf...Law 12 or something...which incidents do we look at? was his question to the press. Maybe now that Marwood has raised it as an issue we might get a break from ref's.

whatever happened to the old rule

the referees decision is final if the ref doesnt see/do anything leave it at that unless its severe like thatcher on mendes

This is the problem with retrospective action as a result of media, managers and TV pundits raising issues after matches, the FA have ace a rod for their own backs, and they will be inundated with unhappy managers calling for action against players they think have cost them games. Trial by TV is turning football, and in particular refereeing, into a farce, where decisions about incidents can be made after the game has finished and refs don't ave to worry about missing things, they can always watch it back in super slow- mo and take action afterwards

The mockery of it all, is that they won't sanction goal line technology, yet they'll hang everyone on a slow mo replay, except the idiot in black.
